Review details:On August 2nd, District Governor Lody (of the Grand Rapids Downtown Club) and Assistant District Governor Mike (from Wawa Club) joined us and gave us an uptade of what is happening in our District. DG Lody shared his two goals for this year: 1) Have fun 2) Have each Club President write a chapter about our club for him. He will compile all the chapters and put together a Book. DG Lody informed us that the District Conference for 2013 will be held in Grand Rapids in May and the International Convention will be held in Lisbon, Spain in June. Both are wonderful opportunities to meet other Rotarians and share information. Maybe we could car pool and get a group to go to the District Conference in Grand Rapids. If you have never attended one, you will be a different Rotarian when you return!! Following our regular meeting, the DG and his Assistant met with the Board and anyone else who wanted to stay. The board members talked about our goals for the upcoming year and the DG offered some suggestions.
