Gazing from a stela of green marble, this mask represents a royal personage from Tikal. It was discovered in Tomb 160, and was crafted of jasper, serpentine, obsidian, jade and conch shell. Today the mask can be seen in the Guatemala Museum of Anthropology, as well as in the pages of National Geographic. Jorge Lopez engraves the iconic image.
