The Rug and Floor Combo Tools changes from a hard floor tool with tough bristles to a gliding carpet tool. The bristles retract up into the tool with the flick of a shoe. The carpet cleaning is done with suction only, there is no rotating brush, but there is an attached lint brush pad that helps pick up hair. These tools are just under 3-inches tall and fit all vacuums with a 1-1/8 to a 1-1/4 inch diameter tube. See below for differences.
