The legendary Nana Daka, or King's treasure box in Akan, inspire the design of this jewelry box. Ahmed Baba Osmanu crafts it by hand with sese wood and embossed aluminum motifs featuring the image of the Ashanti throne on the lid and on sides. On the front is Hye Wonhye, the Adinkra symbol for endurance. Featuring brass hinges, the box closes with an aluminum latch.
