Floral motifs form three mandalas in low relief. Superbly carved by hand, they accentuate the smooth grain of walnut wood. M. Ayub crafts a velvet lined jewelry box with a lift-out tray. The box features a secret locking mechanism and can be opened by sliding the lower front panel of the box to the right side. Ayub works with Kashmiri walnut wood, which takes between two to three years to dry out completely, and uses no artificial colorings. Instead, he polishes the piece with an agate stone.
