D-Link's EasySmart 16-port Gigabit switch features D-Link Green Technology that uses less power and comes in a compact 11" desktop/rackmount enclosure. This switch uses less power during idle periods due to its compliance with IEEE802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet. Through Smart Console Utility, switch managements can be performed which enables business owners to remotely control their network down to the port level. The DGS-1100 Series also features port VLANs, Quality of Service (QoS), and IGMP snooping in order to optimize performance for multicast applications. Additionally, with Bandwidth Control, network administrators are able to reserve bandwidth for high priority functions that require more bandwidth.
