Recycling a variety of materials, Armando RamÃrez depicts a surfo riding a sheet metal wave. A sparkplug forms the body and textured wire becomes arms and legs. The surfer wears baggie shorts made of metal screen while die cut scraps form the head and feet. RamÃrez does not give his sculptures a fine polished finish, therefore smudges and scratches may be present.
