Designer Deborah Osei Boakye orchestrates the symmetrical pairing of hypnotic patterns for the design of this framed kente cloth. Woven on a traditional loom, it receives the name Benu ye na, which is Akan for two heads are better than one. According to kente lore, blue symbolizes spiritual sanctity, yellow represents vitality, and black is related to spiritual intensity. The precious textile is mounted on manila paper and framed in ornate sese wood featuring a protective glass pane.
