One night I stood there watching the moon, studying it, and I could make out what seemed to be the image of a woman sitting on it. It looked so beautiful, I had to try and carve it on wood, recalls Ghanaian artist Daniel Asante. He carves the wall adornment by hand, expertly coaxing the grain of the sese wood into detailed artwork that inspires peace.
