Collecting a variety of metal pieces, Mexico’s Armando RamÃrez reveals a dragonfly. He recycles thick wires into the wings, achieving an amazingly ethereal effect with such sturdy material. Half spheres and cast-off pieces from a die machine are transformed into the dragonfly's eyes, body, and tail. RamÃrez does not give his sculptures a fine polished finish, therefore smudges and scratches may be present.
