Guatemala's Gaspar Mendoza exalts the beauty of a sailfish with this exquisite sculpture. He carves the mahogany sculpture by hand and finishes it with amazing details, including the darker grain of granadillo wood for the eye. The sculpture is carved in two parts that are easily assembled. Mendoza recommends the use of linseed oil when cleaning, to preserve the wood's natural beauty.
