Bands of color run vertically on one side and horizontally on the other side of this shoulder bag by Guatemala's Kaqchikel Women's Group. Working on a backstrap loom, they weave the cotton fabric in red, blue and mustard. Black and white jaspe patterns accentuate the tote and are achieved by tie-dying the threads before they are placed on the loom. Lined in black, the purse features two outer pockets with zippers and a third zipper pocket inside. The shoulder strap is adjustable in length.
