Carried through the town, a winged lion with the face of a bird frightens away evil spirits. The dramatic wood and paper statue is known as the ogoh-ogoh. Captured during the Ngrupuk parade, which takes place on the eve of Nyepi day, the mythic creature dominates this photograph by Andika Pratama. He displays it in a mat board passe-partout.
