Artisan Kelvin Maguiña of Peru crafts this striking jewelry box out of cedar and leather and lines it with maroon velveteen. On the lid and sides of the box, a hand-tooled, anthropomorphous hawk extends its claws menacingly in a traditional Peruvian style. Beneath the main compartment are three removable drawers, two for small items and one for larger items such as bracelets or necklaces.
