By Roxana de Papadopolo, these charming candleholders are handcrafted of ceramic and colored with earthen tones. They can sit on a table, or hang from the ceiling by passing a cord through openings at the top. I was inspired by life in the country, the designer confides. I modified the shape of a traditional flower pot, added a cone-shaped roof, and modified the shape to look like a birdhouse.
