Keeper of a family tradition that goes back generations, Kumar carves the gray stone with hand tools, masterfully achieving the intricate jali composition on each candleholder. The lit tealight allows for a greater appreciation of the jali composition. Each item in a set is unique thanks to Kumar's respect of soapstone's natural color, grain and veins, and he doesn't use any colors or dyes.
