Painted by hand with black and red motifs and accented with triangular brass shapes, this African mask is hand-carved from local sese wood by Ghanaian artisan Awudu Saaed, featuring an original design. The face of the mask is adorned with recycled glass beads in beige, yellow, and black, named Sorko, a word meaning fisherman in the language of the Zarma people of Niger.
