Based on the popular science fiction film, ULTRAVIOLET CODE 044 is an anime series produced by the legendary studio, Madhouse. 044 is a female super-soldier, genetically manipulated by a virus which gives her incredible fighting ability, but greatly reduces her life expectancy. She is sent on a mission to eliminate an outlaw group known as the Phage, but ends up becoming an enemy to both the Phage and her own government. She goes on the run with Luka, the son of a Phage leader. Newly remastered.
