Plots within plots, schemes within schemes and vengeful personal demons seem to be conspiring to destroy an ex-patriot American when he takes a Tip on a Dead Jockey.Spain, 1950s. Former airman Lloyd Tredman (Rod Taylor) suffers overwhelming guilt from the memory of his comrades who died in World War II. When he bets all his money on a horse that throws and kills its jockey, he relents and agrees to pilot an airplane in a scheme to smuggle currency. Only too late does he realize that he's smuggling drugs not cash in this psychological thriller.
