This djembe drum is set to evoke the magical rhythms of Africa. Samuel Coleman carves the piece of local tweneboa wood while the goatskin drumhead is held in place with iron rods. Nylon netting surrounds the drum and helps adjust the pitch. Coleman names this drum Krapa, which in the Akan dialect means Good Soul.
