This street is in my village in Cuzco, and it seems like time has stood still, observes Alcides Medina. You can see some of the original cobbles, as well as stone houses. Men and women have traveled this road for many, many years especially with animals, such as alpacas or donkeys, to help them carry their heavy loads. Medina composes an admirable painting, each masterful brushstroke delivering a vivid view of this Andean village. Titled Calle de la roca in Spanish.
