In this very personal painting, Anton Papo shares his admiration for Mother Teresa of Calcutta. I portray Mother Teresa carrying a sick infant who is instantly relieved from pain. It is replaced by the warmness and compassion that flows from Mother Teresa. This is my way of showing a bit of my appreciation of her work, which I dedicate to the memory of Mother Teresa whom I love, confides the Javanese artist.
