I found my inspiration for this painting in the joy that comes with having flowers at home. I remember these chinitas blossoming in my parents' garden when I was a child, as well as that of my friends. These flowers left a mark in our childhood, says Juan Henry Mendez fondly. He paints this still life with oils and acrylics in a vivid and intense palette of colors. Titled Flores del jardin in Spanish.
