In an effort to improve their standard of living, the members of Las Orquideas Weavers band together, crafting beautiful Guatemalan textiles. With a plaid pattern in daffodil and cerulean on the front and solid cerulean on the back, this pair of pillowcases is woven on a traditional loom from 100% cotton, using the traditional pattern known as jaspe Jaspe is an ikat technique, in which the threads are tie-dyed before placing them on the loom. It is passed down through generations of artisan women.
