You can guide either side of the brush along baseboards or nextto furniture to help remove dirt trapped at carpet edges.The built in overloadprotector protects the motor from brush jamming and belt breakage. If theagitator stops, the overload protector shuts off the motor to protect it. The neck features a 1 1/4 inch opening and will accept most wands with a button lock at one end.There is a full width headlight, plus a wrap around non marking bumper to protect furniture and baseboards.
