Spark plugs are recycled into an expressive sculpture by Mexican artisan Armando Ramirez. He portrays a mechanic at work on the front part of a V.W. Beetle, which he crafts from a car’s ball bearings, chain and rocker arm. Metal nails and sheets serve to complete this whimsical sculpture. RamÃrez prefers not to give his sculptures a fine polished finish, therefore smudges and scratches may be present.
