Lorena Figueroa celebrates Guatemala's rich textile legacy with an extraordinary pair of cotton placemats and napkins. The jade green placemats are woven on a pedal loom featuring the jaspe tie-and-dye patterns in shades of brown, yellow and orange. They are adorned with plain triangles meeting at the center. The cream-colored napkins are also woven on a pedal loom featuring square patterns with raised textures. Figueroa's design includes balls of colorful long threads that resonate with Guatemala's unique artistry.
