| These attractive glasses by Javier and Efrén are skillfully shaped by hand, using traditional blown glass techniques. The contoured appearance is achieved by gently pressing a blowing tube against the surface of the glass. The glass blower turns the glass by hand and moves perpendicular to the tube, creating the spiral contour. The appearance is enhanced by the lime green tincture of the glasses. The set of six makes an exquisite complement to cool and refreshing drinks for those hot summer days. Because each piece is handmade, shape and size can vary slightly and tiny bubbles may appear within the glass. This exemplifies the hand-blown technique, making every piece a unique example of blown glass craftsmanship. |
