Steely gray, creamy beige, and torrid red blocks mark the front of this magnificent wool runner by the Ruiz Bazan family. The blocks are broken by temperate stripes of black, red, gray, and white, giving the appearance of continuity, even within the drastic color differences. At the center of each square of color is a modified diamond shape with adjacent small rhombuses creating a starburst. The jewel in each block is a strongly contrasting color, making it appear as if it may be simply plucked from the surface of the runner.
