Tocapu patterns that once adorned Inca cloaks and fortresses today adorn this tray by Felipe Girón. Painting freehand on glass, Girón expertly replicates the glyphs in shades of red, yellow and brown with walnut oil and gilt applications. The glass pane is expertly set on a wood tray painted a rich copper hue.
