In an effort to become more economically empowered, as well as to provide a better education for their children, the Guatemalan women of the Association of Chajul Women Weavers are proud to present this set of four placemats, which they weave by hand on the backstrap loom from 100% cotton fibers. Each placemat features vibrant stripes in a variety of colors, with a small green decorative pompom at one corner.
