| So you're quite the hip-shaker, are you?We've tried. It's sad really. Our office (only on breaks of course) may or may not have attempted some belly-dancing moves in the break room. Generally speaking: it was a catastrophic failure.Belly dancing is complicated. Have you ever seen a good dancer? They can twist their hips and move their torsos in such ways, sometimes it almost seems like they don't have a spine.So of course one thing led to another at the office and we all decided we had to try it. How hard could it be, right? So wrong. A couple of guys from shipping threw out their backs. One of the phone ladies might have permanently twisted her pelvis. The rest of us just kind of looked like wind up dolls, shaking from one end of the room to the other like we were getting electrocuted. So yeah. We learned our lesson.Of course, we don't get out much nor have much skill. We have way more confidence in your skills, however. As a matter of fact, if you were to try out belly dancing in our Golden Belly Dancer Costume, you'd probably look like a professional. The gold fringe on the top and belt would jingle and shake merrily. All of this over a sheer black skirt and golden top? Well you might not be a professional, but in this outfit, we'd certainly think you are! |
